The Plattsburgh State men's hockey team took part in the Special Athletes for Special Olympics Walk on Sunday, Sep. 2nd, at the SUNY Plattsburgh Fieldhouse.
The walk and cookout was held to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics.
A year ago, the Special Olympics received over $3000 in donations and approximately 600 people attended the event, exceeding both goals. Both Plattsburgh Athletics and Special Olympics look to improve upon those numbers this season.
